Women Safety.

   ' We must make our women safe                      and secure' It is not a matter of rape alone, but about respect that is given to women in public places, homes or at work. That women not being recognized as equals is a matter of deep concern. What is also disturbing is the fact that it is not only in the capital city where women are accorded scant respect, but that it is widespread across the country in varying degrees. Our city Pune, once known for social reformers, freedom fighters and people with bold ideas who engaged women in performing religious rituals, has witnessed many incidents of rape and harm to women.
